Matt Johnson - Manager

Matt Johnson is the newest member of the Syren management team. He has been given the opportunity to elevate the beverage program at Syren, as well as its sister properties, The Claw Bar and The London Club in the Bellasera Hotel. Matt recently rolled out a brand new signature cocktail menu at Syren, all crafted with love and attention to detail. Every cocktail is special to Matt, but if you ask his favorites, he considers the "El Conquistador Tequila Old Fashioned" and the "Rose Blood" to be truly spectacular. 

Matt's journey in hospitality began 30 years ago as a dishwasher and busser. He has worked in every imaginable position, both back-of-house and front-of-house, but although he loves everything about food, wine, and cocktails, he found his passion in the beverage world. Most of Matt's professional career has been in the downtown Naples area. He was part of the opening team at Ocean Prime Naples as Lead Trainer and Beverage Manager. Later, he partnered with his brother to launch Nosh on Naples Bay. Most recently, he developed the beverage program at Rebecca’s Cocktail Lounge & Wine Bar (recently named one of the top 14 bars to visit in Florida by USA Today) and The Maddox private wine club. 

Matt grew up in Naples and enjoys the outdoors, especially activities that involve water, such as boating, fishing, and paddling. He is blessed with a beautiful wife, Leonela, and a 10-year-old son, Samuel.
